2022 Work
Supermajority
I helped Supermajority mobilize millions of women voters in key states like PA and MI in the 2022 Midterms. By developing and leveraging insights from social listening, polling, RCT testing, and more, I helped to frame key messaging for many of Supermajority's marquee efforts, including their Women Are Voting campaign. We used that messaging to make and deploy a lot of powerful, creative digital assets, reaching women across organic social, influencers, Streaming TV and more.
Better Maine
In partnership with FOGLAMP and HardPin Media, I developed paid media strategies and compelling video ads to mobilize voters and defeat Paul LePage in Maine — including coining the phrase "cuts and chaos" through the script for this spot, which became one of the top performing messages against LePage.
2020 Work
Supermajority PAC
In 2020, in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic and presidential election, Supermajority approached me at Do Big Things with a big ask: help us design and run the $2 million digital media campaign needed to mobilize women voters in 3 target states to defeat Donald Trump.
I led DBT’s work to develop the strategy, media plans, budgets, and video assets, including production and testing. We drove multiple waves of vote-by-mail and persuasion messages across 8 platforms to more than 10 million women in AZ, PA, and MI. I personally scripted this spot we called “Contrast”—not only is it a personal favorite, but testing revealed this spot increased support among target women by 2.1-7 points.
Welch for Congress
Congressman Peter Welch and his team engaged me at DBT for help with 2 things: 1) strengthening their overall digital presence; and 2) developing a digital-first media strategy for his 2020 re-election campaign.
We got to work, sharpening the social strategy and growing the community — and saw audiences, fundraising, and engagement grow rapidly across platforms. At the same time, we also developed and ran a digital-first, multi-pronged paid media strategy for his re-election efforts, producing a mix of more traditional spots, heart-felt DTCs, and an array of supporter testimonials, like this unforgettable one from Mateo, seen here.
